ONEsies for the new little One!!!

I know there has not been much activity here for a while…but there is a good reason. We are happy to announce the birth of our daughter M! She was born on May 17th and has been such a joy.

In honor of our new little one I am giving all the people who read my blog 20% off the purchase of an initial ONEsie or t-shirt from my etsy store: girlystone. When you check out please use coupon code: m20off

Over the course of the next few weeks I will be adding more to my shop. Being off work with the new baby allowed me to come up with some great ideas and gave me the time to test them out. Come back soon to see a sneak peek of what I am working on next!

E Is For Elephant

Ellie the Elephant has decided to come and visit us at GirlyStone. This little cutie is hand crocheted by me out of super soft baby yarn; cute black eyes are stitched on with yarn as well and it is stuffed with poly fiberfill to be your little one's new best friend.

This cute little elephant is sure to excite any baby. Ellie can be coordinated with any of my blanket patterns to make the perfect baby set!

What's Up Doc?

The first blankets are up on my Etsy store. The "Kendall" is a very cute blanket that can be made for either a boy or girl. The body of the blanket is one color and the border is another coordinating color. I can include a crocheted bow in the corner of the blanket with yarn matching the border, it is so pretty.

This blanket was named after one of my good friends little girl and it is the perfect present for any little baby. I have so many different yarn colors for you to customize your blanket any way you want. Let me know and I can make it for you!

Pink or Blue?

I wanted to post some pictures of the yarn colors for my new blankets. I usually use a super soft baby yarn that comes in the best colors. As you can see below I have lots of different options and can make anything you are looking for, just let me know!

These are the swatches for the pearl yarn that I use. The colored yarn has a white pearl thread running through it that is so pretty. I love using this yarn to edge the "Kendall" blanket and to make the bow in the corner as well.

GirlyStone - Baby Style

Welcome to the opening of my Etsy store and the beginning of my journey. I love crafting things for babies and have always given my hand crocheted blankets away for baby gifts. Mom's always love how soft and pretty they are and can't wait to use them on their little one. I thought other moms, sisters, grandmas, and friends would want to give this same gift of love to the new little one in their life so I started my store. Please come back to check out new patterns, colors and other surprises that are on the way!
